Three books on pre order- is that a record?

I’m not sure why Boldwood did this but until yesterday I actually had three books – yes three – on preorder. I don’t know if Amazon have a limit but three seems a little excessive to me. What do you think? A Christmas Baby at Goodwill House, The Land Girl’s Secret and The Army Girls Reporting for Duty were all available at the same time. Since Christmas Baby was released yesterday there are now only two.

Usually there’s one, and this goes up the day the new book comes out. This time Boldwood put the November release up last week whilst yesterday’s book was still not out. Then, as I’ve got fourteen back list titles waiting to appear over the next year, I suppose it’s inevitable there are more than usual.

This means that I’ll  have had seven books out this year, four new titles and three backlist. Go Boldwood! No doubt there will be three on pre order again in the coming months as there are two coming out in December.
