Boldwood Birthday

Today I’m celebrating the fifth birthday of my wonderful publisher Boldwood. They started in 2019 with a handful of writers and four staff. Now there are 150+ Boldies and over twenty staff. They publish over 300 books a year in all  formats all over the world. They always have ten or more in the top 100 on Amazon and have had several number ones too.

There are now at least four Boldies who have sold over one million copies and four that have sold half a million. I’m hoping to become one of the latter next year.

No one has left and hundreds are trying to become a Boldie. They give the best parties, all writers get either biscuits with their covers imprinted or flowers for every book published. So far they have given amazing Christmas gifts. There’s been a hot water bottle, a mug, an umbrella, a glass ornament and a vacuum drink bottle.

Amanda Ridout, the CEO, is the main reason the company is so successful. She takes a personal interest in all her authors, knows all our names, and when we meet in person makes us feel we’re one of the most valuable members of the team. The directors and editors, the interns and marketing staff are all excellent and I am so happy to be with Boldwood.
